Baicalein
What Is Baicalein?
1)Baicalein (5,6,7-trihydroxyflavone) is a flavonoid compound originally isolated from the roots of Scutellaria scutellaria and the red leaf scutellaria. It is also an ingredient in Indian morning glory (Oroxylum indicum) and thyme. It is an aglycone of baicalin.
2)Baicalein is under investigation in clinical trial NCT03830684 (A Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Multicenter and Phase II A Clinical Trial for the Effectiveness and Safety of Baicalein Tablets in the Treatment of Improve Other Aspects of Healthy Adult With Influenza Fever).
3)Baicalein is a natural product found in Lepisorus ussuriensis, Scutellaria prostrata, and other organisms with data available.
Product Applications
